Laser Mirrors: follow the beam through every turn

Meet Laser Mirrors, a free reflection puzzle. Learn how to trace the beam, rotate mirrors and work backward from the receiver.

Laser Mirrors is now playable on TAPA GAME. The yellow emitter sends a beam across the board, and your job is to route it into the green receiver. You can turn the mirrors, but the solid blocks stay put. A mirror that looks right in isolation can still send the light into the wrong row.

Read the route before rotating

Start at the emitter and follow the visible beam until it hits its first mirror. Check the direction it takes after the reflection. Then move your attention to the next object it reaches. This is easier than trying several rotations and remembering which arrangement almost worked.

If the beam stops at a solid block, the useful change must happen earlier in the route. Turning a mirror beyond that block will not affect the light because the beam never reaches it.

Work backward from the green receiver

The target gives you a fixed endpoint. Look along the row that leads into it and find the last mirror that could send light there. Set that final turn in your plan, then ask where the light would have to come from. Working backward can expose a route that is hard to spot from the emitter alone.

There are twenty levels. They use different board arrangements, so keep checking the actual route rather than repeating the same sequence of clicks.

Controls and a useful first attempt

Tap a mirror to rotate it. On a keyboard, move the selection with the arrow keys and press Enter. Undo is available with U, and R retries the level.

For your first attempt, change one mirror and trace the beam again. When you can explain exactly where it went, the next rotation becomes a decision rather than a guess.
